Otherkins are often being excluded and mocked, even on the internet. My brother gets angry at me when I mention being a fallen angel, my mom gave me a side stare, and the internet? Well… I don’t even wanna mention it.
We need a space of our own.

Then make one 💙 That’s not meant to be snark, but literal. Make the community you want to be a part of. That’s how every other community you are a part of got made. If you know anything about computers you can make a lemmy, if you know less you can make a discord, or you can see if you can find any existing communities that fit your needs
I… can’t code. And I was thinking more of a specific website. Lemmy communities will tend to be closed only about otherkinning, and I want a space where we can socualize and talk about general things.
Then ya, your looking for something more out of the box like starting a discord server. No coding required there
Something that happens in some communities is a mod or a bot will make a weekly post for general conversation. Perhaps that’s a good start?
