If your whole brand identity is built around being an affordable flagship, what did you think would happen if you’re no longer affordable?

That being said, I had two oneplus phones way before they got expensive and they were awesome phones. Excellent battery life and specs, and super fast charging for their time. I’m sad to see them go but it was evident they were heading that way from Oneplus 8 onwards. The OP8 cost more than double the price of the OP1, just 6 years later.

Same logic for me. Don’t come with a flagship killer branding that promises high quality at low price, if you don’t intend to keep it going. The moment OnePlus started pricing like Samsung it was over.

Once they started removing useful features as well. The side switch on the 8T for example, they removed it around the same time as Apple did. I got a 10T from my work and I barely use it, it’s so much more cheap plastic and a stupid camera bulge. My 8T is on the end of its life and I really don’t know what I’ll be able to switch to.

Damn I have had 3 OnePlus phones over the years and I had a feeling this might happen. I was looking for a OnePlus 15 for a few weeks. Finally pulled the trigger on one on eBay. Sucks that this product line is over.
