It’s Dungeons and Dragons day!
This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.
I got a free copy of a book about making small talk. It’s marketed as a professional development self-help type thing to mainly help salespeople. Is it sad that I’m resorting to a book like that to develop soft skills like talking to people?
Given that I binged police interrogation videos for similar reasons, no.
Ive been wanting to play with an LLM to be a DM for my husband and I to play D&D with.
I’m glad you found a real life place to enjoy!
Im just waiting for my zucchini lasagna to finish baking. Want to make garlic toast to go with it.
Me and my husband (also on Team ‘Tism) are on a road trip through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
We went to a shipwreck museum today, and it was really cool. Underwater horror stories are one of my interests.
Then we went to Sault Ste. Marie (the American one) and looked at the locks that let the ships pass through. My husband loves engineering, so it was super exciting for him.
Now we both feel very satisfied and ready to rest!
That sounds like an awesome trip! I would love to see the locks myself.
They are truly cool, they have a nice visitor center and an observation deck where you can watch the ships pass through. And the town itself is very nice! Plus, if you want to, you can cross into Canada for fun.
Do I have to cross back?
Asking the important questions!
Congrats on D&D! I miss it a lot! No one wants to DM anymore. And yes, that includes me lol…
I was lucky we have a Game Cafe near us that hosts DND nights and the games are open to everyone.
oh man I wish I had that near me but with pathfinder ;p
We’re going to see The Tempest tonight. Very exciting. Also, my apartment is a mess because I’ve been stressed about work, but thankfully it’s my last week.
Nice, live theatre is so much fun. I need to make time to start going to my local players theatre
