Day 28. I will not be drinking today.
Four weeks!!! 💜
today’s day 6 and I’m in hospital. withdrawals are almost gone but they’ve upped my seroquel from 50mg to 300mg and it’s like the worst hangover ever. I used to drink 30 beers a day and not feel this bad.
Dude. Seroquel is a sledgehammer. I feel ya there. Congrats on day 6!!!

You keep trying and that is the important part. Do not give up. Most of us have had multiple tries too. 💜

Thanks! It gets a lot easier as time goes on. There are definitely some days though, especially during 2020, where I had to go back to the “I will not drink today” mantra.

A month before I quit last year I had a CT scan of my heart. Came back saying I had the beginnings of fatty liver disease. I want a new CT done so badly to see the improvement!!
Bruhhhhh I bet it’s looking fantastic! It’d be motivating af to see the difference between then and now!
And I’m glad you caught it at the beginning stages! Good on you for making the necessary changes! It feels like an impossible task sometimes!
