The locations absolutely look great for filming in general, and I’m delighted for Scotland to get cool projects like this, but they still feel like an odd choice for this film to me. Those coasts are gorgeous, but they look very different to the Mediterranean both in real life and in the trailers for the film

There are stretches that in the summer if you squinted you could beleive were in the med. Britain in general has a pretty diverse coastline.
Shh, the North East coast has long been kept a secret. Elgin is delightful, Morayshire very fine indeed, Cullen, Buckie and Portsoy don’t have one of the finest costal paths about. And Banff, just fucking Banff! All next to the best Whisky region, best weather, amazing sea activities, and fantastic mountain access
