My new android phone came with free watch and earbuds. The watch needs to connect to the Internet to contact the mother ship apparently otherwise no worky. So it’s still in the box. But the buds I thought might be useful. However I tested their sound vs my very cheap wired earbuds with a diy IEM adapter. It’s night and day. The Moto buds loop just suck. And that’s probably why the spy watch and the junk buds are free.
I’m in the same boat with a pair of Lenovo PS-1551B! I bought them for 15-25cad, worked fine with my old Motorola smart phone, but with any other phone it does not, as the phones won’t recognize it as headphones! To make it work on my new phone, I had to download an old Lenovo app, which for some reason Lenovo does not offer on google play.
And after solving this, I press play on my phone and all I hear is terrible compressed sound! I tried to avoid it, but every time I use them, I say what shity sound is this?!!?!!?!?
And yes IEMs are much better. I own a pair and I can’t stop shouting about the detail on songs! Not to mention ASMR stuff.
