I’m looking to use Kagi, but one thing that I really dislike about it is that the pricing below 10 usd / month limits you to just 300 searches / month. That’s 10 web searches a day. I would be fine with this if it didn’t feel like I was rationing searches. Hitting the back button on a site somehow uses a “search” too.

    Yeah, unfortunately. It wasn’t long before it became necessary for me to upgrade my plan. I’m now on the Professional plan as a single user.

    I switched to have kagi always open a new tab when clicking on links. that resolved pretty much any issue I ever had with rationing. I switched relatively soon after to unlimited, but not because I needed more, but because they updated the plan pricing so I just got it automatically. If you have it you use it pretty much.
