2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
To me, the Muramasa is an elegant design. It has a very interesting adjustment mechanism coupled with precision machining, and understated looks. I have several Gillette adjustables and they set the standard. The guys at Tatara set out to do something better, and I think that they succeeded.
My understanding is that Indigo (originally Mood Indigo), is being dropped from the product line. Naturally, it is one of my favorites. Having said that, there is very little that Ben does that I have not enjoyed.

Felt a little roughness from the cartridge. These are usually quite smooth, but I guess sometimes there are duds. Still fine overall!
