CD Projekt RED and WayForward (of Shantae & River City Girls fame) may have quietly cooked up a 2.5D beat 'em up based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 😳
According to an MP1st leak, codenamed Edgerunners: Gemini, it was in development since 2025 on Unreal Engine 5, focusing on online co-op and Rollback Netcode, all dug up from a former WayForward dev’s resume. Whether it’s alive or shelved is ANYONE’S guess, as both studios stay silent.
