The WH40K series with Cavill will take “years”, but the news is INSANE 🔥

Mike Flanagan, the mind behind “Midnight Mass”, “The Haunting of Hill House”, and “The Life of Chuck”, is on board. He’s already finished initial drafts, will start scripting soon, and per Deadline, will serve as showrunner, director, and executive producer. While we wait, “Secret Level” season 2 will feature an “Age of Sigmar” episode, and a “Space Marines, Deathwatch” animated series by John Orloff (“Masters of the Air”) is in the works.

Hold the line 🙏

I never played the game but the lore is interesting. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they resist the pressure to make the Space Marines into the “good” guys.

      It was… Ok?

Not on the same level as the Haunting series he did, but it wasn’t that bad.

I never bothered with Fall of the House of Usher though.

I’m excited for 40k to be given a spooky feeling, the universe definitely sucks and I’m excited to see how they play that out over the sort of romanticizing of UltraMarines

Yeah, I really don’t need a Mike Flanagan twist in my 40k universe. I’m still excited about this show even with this news. Give it enough time to be good. I just hope it doesn’t “subvert my expectations”
