Their debut Expedition 33 sold over 8 million copies and took 4-6 years to develop. Sandfall Interactive currently has 26 people, no plans to expand, as constraints fuel creativity.
No details on the new project yet, but Broche says: “We want to let imagination and creativity run wild.” A Switch 2 port is being considered, but poses technical hurdles, the console struggles with UE5. However, Lumen Lite now promises 60 fps on Switch 2. Sony ditching disc drives bums them out, they love physical copies.
