I should clarify, specifically David Jenkins’s version of the Booster Gold show is canceled. DC is still developing a Booster Gold series, just with a different showrunner.
Which is such a shame because,
Jenkins, who created HBO’s “Our Flag Means Death” pirate comedy, was hired in July 2025 to pen the pilot and serve as showrunner if it was ordered to series.
Is basically the perfect pitch for who should be writing this show.
Obviously it could have been garbage, but I think a series in that style would be perfect.
it seems alot superhero content arnt moving foward. they need to figure out to make slop,. its probably a good thing, its too inundated.
