Owlcat Games co-owner Aleksandr Mishulin hasn’t ruled out the studio taking on Baldur’s Gate 4, calling it a “big honor” and a “great challenge.” Hasbro hasn’t yet named a new dev after Larian stepped away.
Owlcat already shipped Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (often compared to BG3) and is working on Dark Heresy plus an adaptation of The Expanse. But Mishulin insists copying Larian’s formula is pointless, a fresh vision is a must, or it’s a FLOP.
Think they can live up to the legacy?👀
