If I were naming a ship, I would name it the HMS Completely Vulnerable.
The SS Ready to Blow.
Thar she blows up?
HMS Target Practice
HMS Leaky Bucket
HMS Smoke on the Water
These ships will be around forever.
UNSINKABLE!
- Quote about ship that sank
- Song about how your heart will go on.
I’m kind of lost. Isn’t this meme for causing your own demise and blaming others?
guess i’ll just name my ship vincible then. saves me the embarrassment if it explodes. and if it doesn’t, hey, i’m not complaining. win-win

If the ship is called Invincible
then why can I see it?
Because it’s not called invisible. That’s hard to spot.
See also the HMS Dreadnaught. A ship named “fear nothing” who spent most of her career relegated to coastal defence because she was outdated and would’ve been an easy target.
Dreadnought’s one score was ramming and sinking a U-boat. It gets more interesting because that U-boat was commanded by Otto Weddingen, who had previously commanded a really obsolete old U-boat named “U-9” when she sank three armored cruisers in one attack while submerged, a feat that shocked everyone into realizing the actual threat posed by submarines.
Most people (I bet), when they read the word Jutland:

It is pretty impressive that they apparently managed to get the ship moved into Jutland.
Jut means good in my local dialect so I think it’s a good place
Jutland wastes?
Yeah, that’s not very typical. I’d like to make that point.
Next ship: Invincible 2
Our enemies will tremble.
One of my favourite ship names to use in FTL
HMS Invincible: gets sunk
HMS Lame Dog: survives 18 torpedo strikes, 3 bombings, 2 fires, and an iceberg
You see, only the lame things survive.
Brutalizing this poor template.
See, the United States named our battleships after things like North Carolina and New Jersey, and they’re currently on display in North Carolina and New Jersey.
