Hi,

I have on my android ntfy and selected UP in ArcaneChat settings. In ntfy I can see “chat.delta.lite (UnifiedPush)” listed.

1 - how to verify in AC that this is the channel used for UP?

2 - when I force stop AC (I don’t have allow background usage enabled), notifications don’t work (despite UP) - why?

    if that is the unifiedpush provider then that is the one used as you already see inside the provider app, if there are several providers installed, you can see and switch providers in the notifications settings of arcanechat

    this is normal, and the same behavior for official google push notifications, if you force-kill an app the system assumes you really got annoyed by the app/push notifications and doesn’t keep waking up the app on push notifications, just swiping away the app from recent apps is the way you normally close apps, this has nothing to do with ArcaneChat but how Android system works
