Dyeing with Coreopsis flowers is simple! Coreopsis flowers produce a perfect rusty pumpkin orange color on natural fibers.

I learned this summer that deadheading coreopsis just makes more flowers. I have about half a mason jar of dried coreopsis so far, with plenty more about to bloom.
