New findings by the Electronic Frontier Foundation aim to warn app developers that some of the third-party code they place in their apps may also collect their users' location data when they grant permission to the app.

    This is why I sell apps, and don’t mess with ads.

    As an end user I don’t use ad supported things, and block all ads, so I can’t justify writing apps that have ads in them.

    If your app is worth having, it’s worth charging a few $ for (or adding a subscription if the app requires ongoing content generation or constant updates).
