Technically there special force from Russia but I guess that if Russia is doing a POW unit it’s only a « special » unit
I think most of the “real” ones died in the attack on Kiev in the first three days of the war.
They were never anything more than glorified gymnasts anyway.
A very special unit for a very special military operation commanded by a very special leadership.
soviet/post-soviet special forces. they do dangerous forward operations before infantry comes in to secure an area. their US equivalents would be like the Green Berets
Green Berets would walk all over Spetnaz tho, same category but order of magnitude different capability.
