    He never needed a redemption, it was the fans who were being shit bags this whole time. He did the best he could with a shit script, written by a shit writer but he was always good for the role. I thought he was a bit childish in episode 2 but looking back that fits, it was before the war. Episode 3 Anakin was fire

        Well we’re not rewriting history. Those movies were not great, and are widely accepted as badly written, with awful dialogue.
