Okay, we are in a “gray area” of the law of war.
    Were Wildberries’ warehouses legitimate targets?
What percentage of goods were military related (including civilian drones, etc. )?

Volunteer suppliers were buying a lot of supplies (body armor, drone parts, etc) from Wildberries and sending them to the troops. Up until the attacks started, Wildberries’ website had (and promoted) a category of goods titled “Everything for SMO” (“Всё для СВО”).

Meduza has analysed the volunteers’ social networks and found crowdfunding posts for goods from Wildberries, and almost the same amount from Ozon (another big retailer). Why wasn’t Ozon targeted is unclear. Maybe it’s because Wildberries is bigger, maybe it’s because Ozon didn’t specifically advertise “Goods for SMO”, or maybe Ukraine has gotten some Intel that us regular people are unaware about.

Another their publication citing Verstka, says that in three months before the attacks started, military goods generated 1.646 billion rubles (almost 20 million USD) in revenue.

Also, for what it’s worth, Russia has previously attacked Nova Poshta (towards the bottom of the article there’s a record of earlier attacks as well), and they were using the same justification, so these attacks on Wildberries can be just a mirror response, so to speak.

So yeah, while by the the law it’s a grey area, there are legitimate reasons to at least somewhat justify the strikes.

Nothing gray about it. By selling goods for the war in Ukraine they are a legit target. The percentage doesn’t matter one little bit.
