I use the Calendula app, which has the option to send a reminder before an event, but not an alarm per se. I sync Android’s calendar to my Radicale server with davx⁵ if that matters. I have a Huawei P30 pro.

You can use an automation app like Tasker or Macrodoid so an alarm is set before 10-15mins for a calender event.
