Nintendo’s takedown order does a huge, invalid, logic jumps. It’s 100% bullshit. The emulator is meant to play legally obtained copies of switch games with legally obtained copies of prod.keys. It’s completely legal to dump keys on a switch that’s vulnerable to it.
During operation, the emulators at the reported repositories necessarily use unauthorized copies of these cryptographic keys to decrypt unauthorized copies of Nintendo Switch games, or ROMs, at or immediately before runtime without Nintendo’s authorization
They’re still on this shit, huh? This is a blatant abuse of DMCA. The copies don’t have to be authorized to be legal.
