Unfortunately most Canadian whisky I’ve tried is rye, and rye is kinda “meh” for me.
Doesn’t mean I drink bourbon anymore, though…
I tried Canadian whisky for the first time this year, it’s pretty decent. ABV could be a little higher.
Canadian Rye is some of the best whisky out there. Between Scottish, Irish and Canadian whisk(e)y I really don’t need anything American.
I tend to only get Scottish and Japanese. Never had a good American one, but will try find something Canadian.
There’s a small producer here in Montreal that makes a smoked whisky that I’m a fan of though it’s nothing fancy.
