I’d put it at about a 7/10… I doubt anyone is going to be still talking about it in 10 years’ time or whatever, but it’s a decently funny sitcom with a lot of heart. Plus 6 × 30 mins is super low commitment.

Fun fact, the same “movement guy” who sorted out the synths’ movements on Humans did this too, and that’s one area they really nailed. Diane Morgan consistently got laughs out of me just by reacting and looking at things. 😃

If you liked Diana Morgan as Philomena Cunk, this is a bit of the same. Running on the edge of second hand embarrassment and humour.

If you didn’t like the trailer you probably won’t like the rest of it. I am laughing my ass of every episode, but it’s basically all the same humour.

Yes, my partner and I really enjoyed it. She likes silly humour and I like British cringe humour so it was a good mix for us. It also has quite a bit of heart, with themes around aging and loneliness that I found relatable and moving.

It’s only six thirty minute episodes so you can binge it in a couple of nights very easily.

It’s pretty mid. Designed for seniors. A waste of Diane Morgan.
