It’s comedic watching Linux users flex about “superior performance” while their hardware quietly performs worse than it does on the operating system it was actually designed for.

Routinely, some new loud vocal minority buys a high-end NVIDIA GPU, boots Linux, discovers their GPU isn’t getting fully used, blames the vendor, capitalism, and ‘bad drivers’, and yet they insist Linux is better because “freedom.”

The guy with a mid‑range Intel CPU is getting smoother performance than the guy who dropped $1,200 on a GPU that Linux treats like a decorative RGB brick.

Linux users will still tell you they’re “smart with their money.” (-Really, they’re often broke because ‘anti-work’.)

Linux users love to brag about being frugal, minimalist, efficient, and “not paying the Windows tax.” But then they pirate, buy hardware that performs worse, spend hours tweaking configs to fix problems Windows doesn’t have, install risky scripts for basic functionality, and tell the world how ‘Linux is better’.
