I don’t understand HBO. It will cost a huge amount of dollars doing a show that will be as divisive as the next elections, it will probably make its cost but people will shit on it for many years to comes which will affect shareholders confidence.
They could have done another teen magical series with the branding « like the book’s serie we don’t talk about but without de nazism » and make a lot more money without the loss of confidence
The show is going to crash and burn after book 3. That still has all the nostalgia from the original movies. Book 4 will slam into elf slavery and Cho Chang, which (I really hope) will not fly in 2028/9
If it could crash at the first season it will be best
