None of which look particularly appetising at first glance, but! Chile were better than all thought in their opener, Wales are still shit, and Ireland will be concentrating on Scotland, not Tonga
Weather today is dry and quite hot, with 30 close in the south, let’s hope for some great tries!
Won’t be able to watch much, if any of the rugby today and it’s probably the best day for that given the matchups.
That’s said, always been a fan of Portugal since their debut, and I might try and see how Ireland are looking seeing as they’re possible quarter final opponents.
I imagine for them the plan will be bonus point win and, more importantly, no injuries. On the last point, I Suspect they’ll come at Tonga right out the blocks to try put the match out of reach as soon as possible. I Imagine the tackles hit that little bit harder when the win is still there for the taking.
Aye, I’m also busy today, seeing as Scotland not playing this weekend. Might catch some of the last match, we’ll see
Checked the score last night, saw it was 3-3 so figured I’d pop the match on for a bit since everyone was in bed. Ireland scored within a few seconds, and Tonga fell apart.
Sorry folks, think it was my fault.
Just tuned in but impressed with Portugal so far. Holding their own
WOW what a first try from Portugal!!
all likely to be one sided. However, I’m interested in seeing how Tonga go with their ex-all blacks. You never know, the good weather may suit them better than Ireland, and at least make it a decent game.
What’s with the stadium speaker talking trough the national anthems and the Tongan sipi tau? It feels so disrespectful :(
Hell of a start for Chile. Chile can’t let these penalties add up on them though
Highlight reel try by Samoa’s scrum half
