Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.

I always thought that a post scarcity anarchist, libertarian or communist utopia would basically converge into one.

Most notably, the absence of liberals

And that’s our future. American workers love the taste of billionaire jizz.

Yeah and that rich guy is me, the world is my backyard (not yours) and therefore my playground. I will lick the boot and eventually I will become the boot. While everyone else toils for my security I gaze upon my barren, empty, transplanted grass yard and scoff at the mention of people drinking the water I spread over my hollow fortress.

Socialism? Best I can do is “free market” slavery, my forced conscript child army will defeat the Walmart Raytheon child slave army any day now, then you’ll see!

The one they advertise as the heart of the bill that makes all the other listed stuff there a reality. Sick days, grievance, maternity, and vacation days all go against your 7 days per 400 days.

Even in this Left-Wing utopia, due to the nature of humans, they would find someone who does not “deserve” to be a part of it.

There must always be a least deserving person. There must always be a way to be better than others.

Only some very extreme CRISPR engineering not possible today would fix that.
