Hello again, a lot of work has happened since I last dropped by, most importantly we have a demo!
The goal with this demo is to keep it fairly open but only small hulls and no port infrastructure upgrades. Otherwise it’s everything I’ve built so far. It will have pretty constant development still while I flesh it out and make it more than what it is today.
Any feedback, ideas, bugs, spelling mistakes, etc please do let me know! There’s an in-game feedback form but you can drop me a note here too if you’d prefer.
If you want to follow along in the development process you can follow on Itch
Well, this looks neat as hell. I’m gonna have to try it.
Please do! Let me know what you find, I’ve got a list from current feedback but I’ll happily add to that!
You got a formal feedback website/forum/tracker/whatever?
In the game menu I have a feedback form which should come through to me. I’m building a website at the moment too to make it a bit clearer, if it gets big I can make a discord to capture them too.
Kudos for using the AI disclosure on Itch and Steam
Of course! I’m very happy to be clear about when and where I’ve been using AI.
This looks great! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks! Let me know if theres anything you think I should put in or change!
It might be a little while before I have chance to play it, but it looks like “my sort of thing” - I’ll try to give some feedback if I remember :)
I finally got around to trying the demo, and first off, the game has great bones. I am interested in whatever’s happening in this universe and it’s fun to inhabit.
I was having issues today where my first purchased or leased ship regularly doesn’t populate in the fleet tab until I acquire a second one or click around in the interface a LOT.
Lower priority, but the directions to find the shipyard to purchase from are inaccurate and confusing and I struggled with the UI for awhile before I understood what was expected. That might cause less determined users to bounce off the game entirely.
Other thoughts, with the caveat I haven’t played for long enough to have full familiarity:
I picked up some unknown item along a route, but it wasn’t clear what it was or if it was worth detouring for it.
That’s amazing thank you!
I have gotten a lot of that feedback in similar veins so I’ve got the next few weeks worth of work to clear those up for sure!
Good luck haha, looking forward to the next update
