Just wouldn’t be a proper Sounders game if we didn’t lose at least one player to injury for a few weeks.
He’s a tough kid
Perhaps because of the way injuries have continued to pile up for the Sounders, Kossa-Rienzi apparently tried to play through the injury. The 24-year-old first showed signs of distress in the 14th minute when he was tackled by Mohammed Sofa. Kossa-Rienz, though, stayed in the game until the 37th minute when it became obvious that something more serious had happened.
