My professor gave us a test last week that was 80% long form answer. My hand was dying
Did you do the test in print or cursive? I’m working on my cursive again after years of very little handwriting. I’ve found that, though cursive takes more patience with the motor skills and hand to brain connections, it’s easier on the hand.
I’ve found that a hybrid between print and cursive works best for me in most cases. That said, it becomes “cursive” if I wanna go faster, which also makes my writing progressively illegible lol
Illegal cursive is both a blessing and a curse
I had to do my last essay written all in standardized engineering uppercase. I was sore for a while after that.
It’s just like riding a bike, way harder than you ever remember it being.

How about save us both some time and let me use that computer. Or better yet, my phone where I have auto compete set up.
the wonky feeling when you try to move the pen is a cursed feeling
Legit haven’t written anything since 2017
This is how writing always was for me. I’m a lefty, and I get nasty hand cramps after a paragraph or two.

Fellow lefty. I do not miss the graphite smudges one single bit.
I’m the same but I also get an indentation on the last knuckle of my middle finger from where the pen rests. For exams I end up having to take a 5 minute break after each question to recuperate and massage it back to normal.
So real 😂
I just love the way your thoughts have little barrier to the medium and your thoughts and feelings affect the way the ink goes on the paper. I really like to write, and this meme is true. It doubly sucks now that my joints are trash.
What is this arcane magic you speak of?
I even get this when switching from writing on a tablet to paper
