Been interested in foldables for a while, this is looking like a really strong contender.

Reasonably sized wheels, a rear rack, and internal hub pretty much ticks all my boxes for a low maintenance, multimodal commuter. Being belt driven is extra icing on the cake

Tern’s foldable looks pretty badass too, and it has a power generator for the lights and can charge your phone off your pedaling.

Kinda want to get one of these or one of those folding Terns: I have a folding ebike I love but it weighs 3x as much as one of these little guys.

So I’ve never really understood the appeal of belt bikes. I hey that they’re lower maintenance but the steep efficiency loss is a deal breaker for me

With modern gear drives the efficiency losses are minimal and yea they are insanely long lasting and debris resistant.

The few articles I’ve seen say the loss is pretty miniscule at low effort, and becomes even less at higher output.

I’ve never tried one. I have chains on my hybrid MTB and my eFatbike, they’ve been pretty reliable for me though.
