The Fediverse platform Surf.social is an interesting place to pull together diverse sources into a unified feed for reading and commenting around your interests.

I created a Roguelites/Roguelikes feed there with all kinds of game announcements and reviews, YouTubers who cover roguelikes, blog and RSS feeds, podcasts, etc. I mostly did it so I could get a good view into what’s going on across the web in the roguish world, but the feed is public and can be followed from your Mastodon or Bluesky account as well.

https://roguish.surf.social/

if you use Surf you can pull my feed into your account as a source or you can review my sources and subscribe to them individually to build your own feed.

I just thought some in here might get some value from it, enjoy!

Not familiar with the software so not sure on what/where to look for, but if the information is interesting, Itchio and Steam both have native RSS feeds for their games, on Itchio’s case for devlogs (when at least one’s been released) and game releases (can’t remember if just by dev or also by tag), and on Steam’s case for game and group announcements (and in the games’ case, you can get redundancy through both Steam Community and Steam News Hub’s RSS feeds).

Also devs are often on either/both Bluesky and Twitter, and Bluesky has native RSS and Twitter you can still get RSS for with Nitter and some other tools apparently still float around.
