I mean, you could put a lot of news articles there with the same effect. Obviously one of them is way worse than the other, but that doesn’t mean that Russell isn’t allowed to complain or that it doesn’t suck for him. Bringing up problems like hunger in Africa, floods in Libya, war in Ukraine, etc every time someone complains about some first world problems isn’t gonna solve anything and is just annoying. Yes these things are horrible, but life goes on and we also have our own first world problems that we are allowed to feel emotions for.
