It’s been 15 years since Skyrim. Will we ever see Elder Scrolls 6? Will it be good?
Meh, I just need more mods. I’m not going to spend 80€ on any game, thank you very much.
€80 today is worth less than €60 when Skyrim released.
Do you think the game industry is somehow immune from inflation?
No, but inflation also impacts how much have left to purchase games, which is the decisive factor for me.
I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve seen this community come up, and I’m curious why it’s “Skyrim” and not “The Elder Scrolls” or even “Bethesda (Game Studio)”? Lemmy normally struggles with specific game communities (though I recognize Skyrim has one of the largest historically). Broadening it seems smart, and Skyrim specifically seems shortsighted because there will eventually be more TES games.
