Sneaky D quickly crept across the creaky floor. His Ritalin was wearing off and he could feel his hands again. He wondered if he could create the perfect cocktail to get through the day. He fished a handful of pills out of a tackle box and tossed them in his mouth.

A strong urge to skip school and smoke dope gripped his mind, he couldn’t let it go. A few leftover pieces of turkey nestled in his pocket.

He walked across the beach and onto the pier where a group of youths were rolling dice and staring at the sun. Sneaky D made a joke about pier pressure and laughed.

He made some juicy cuts across his abdomen with his Scouts of America knife, revealing a multitude of pills. He plucked a pill from his belly and held it in his hand.

“Take it” he said. “Good kids like you deserve the good stuff.”

One of the kids was scraping thin slices off a Speed Stick deoderant with his fingernail.

Sneaky D looked at the kid, smiling. The kid looked at Sneaky D, they looked at each other.

The kid took the pill and swallowed it. He closed his eyes and rocked his head back, dropping his deodorant like a rich kid who buys deodorant and then just drops it.

Something bounced up and down, making small squeaky sounds, and someone’s knees swelled.

“That was an unknown substance" A passerby whispered, apparently gossiping to himself about the day’s goings on. The day kept going on, it was ongoing.

Sneaky D sniffed the air, information obtained by ordinary olfaction. You could really smell it- It was time to go so he went.
