Misleading headline, it will also be on PC.
It’s technically still an exclusive if you consider windows IS Microsoft. That is, it will run on Linux obviously
If it said Microsoft exclusive then yes. Xbox != PC

End of the first paragraph in the article:
it’ll be available on both PC and Xbox when it does launch.
That some BS right there. Stanfield is one thing but an existing IP that was on Playstation as well as Xbox should still be allowed on Playstation.
Why? It should release exactly where the owners want it to.
Now I generally don’t agree with exclusives on any platform as the hardware should speak for itself but Sony are the absolute worst for exclusive games.
Sony developed the studios and talent that are responsible for its most famous exclusives. On the other hand, Microsoft’s wallet did the all the heavy lifting. Either way, it doesn’t entitle Sony access to Microsoft’s property.
I mean, you just said it yourself.
Microsoft now owns Bethesda, and so, any future Elder Scrolls releases. That is now Microsoft’s property. Just because previous games in the series released on PlayStation, doesn’t entitle future releases to be on PlayStation.
Yeah I literally said that lmao. I was just responding to what seemed like a strange comparison to make between the two companies’ exclusives. It only makes sense that PS would be so protective of their exclusives when they invested so much time and effort (and money) into them. Microsoft also invested into their exclusives, but that looked a little different lol
