Sybiha, WTO Chief Okonjo-Iweala Discuss Black Sea Shipping Security

Kyiv is aiming to promote a WTO-wide standard for remote audits and inspections, having already agreed on the practice with the EU, UK and Canada.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha spoke with the World Trade Organization (WTO) chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to back efforts on restoring Black Sea shipping safety, as Russian attacks on civilian vessels and ports threaten Ukraine’s grain exports and global food security. Sybiha also sought support for a WTO standard on remote audits.
