We got Horton as a puppy sometime around 1997 when I was still in highschool. He was actually half basset half beagle. I taught him how to stand up like that and once he understood that when he stood up he would get a treat he started doing it unprompted whenever we ate dinner lol

That is cute. Beagles are such friendly dogs. I’ve had some beagle in my past dogs. Sometimes mixed with psychotic breeds.
