I thought the movie was possibly the best live action transformers movie that has been made, rivaling or exceeding the first Bay movie from 2007. The human characters were well developed and relatable. Many of the transformers also had good characterization and solid voice acting. As a big fan of the original show, I still have a few quibbles with the film, but I was very entertained by the flick. What did others think? Please keep the discussion spoiler free.
I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and loved transformers. Bumblebee is the best live action movie by far.
You know, I honestly forgot about that one. It was probably the best live action movie overall for sure. I still have a soft spot for the Beast Wars characters in the new film, but yes, maybe the movie isn’t quite on the same level. I’d put Rise of Beasts around 80% and Bumblebee around 85%.
I liked it overall but it’s fight scenes were really lacking. Mostly shooting with pretty much no hand to hand
