Akin is yung kay Lord Henry Wotton sa “The Picture of Dorian Gray”

“The books that the world calls immoral are books that show the world its own shame.” - Henry

the “Immune” book from Philipp Dettmer my brother said it’s propaganda just because Kurzgesagt received fundings from various rich people, and the very recent book I finished “Lost Connections” by Johann Hari which have very good arguments, Lost Connections is the book where I came across the word “publication bias” for the first time which is the loophole that Drug Companies abuses to bypass FDA and market their own medicines if you think that I’m making conspiracy search this on google “Spitzer vs GlaxoSmithKline” Some drugs are no better than MLM products and much worse

These 2 books will be called immoral if it get popular on Philippines since it answers questions that will spark controversy, just like what the second book taught me it questions the credibility of FDA, remember pancit canton issue? I wouln’t trust our FDA that much if I were you

This is technically not a book but rather a letter linked to a book, written by Aldous Huxley to George Orwell regarding 1984. It highlights the difference in the principles and philosophies that guide the totalitarian governments of Huxley’s “Brave New World” and Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four”:

Within the next generation I believe that the world’s rulers will discover that infant conditioning and narco-hypnosis are more efficient, as instruments of government, than clubs and prisons, and that the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging and kicking them into obedience.
