Hi, is it planned to make the app fully iPad OS compatible? I mean, that the UI is scaling correctly etc. Right now the app runs as the iPhone version on the iPad.

The option to just “float” the iPhone version would be a huge improvement.

If you have a Mac you can actually just clone the repository, open the project in Xcode and add iPad as a target.

It works, and some views are taking advantage of the larger display (the settings tab is split screen).

But as the devs stated, it’s not really optimized for iPad yet so I can understand why they don’t target iPad in their official build yet.

Yeah. Once they build for iPad OS, it’ll open the floodgates on bug reports so I get the “wait for stable” approach. I’ll keep using the web from my iPad for now.

iPad user as well, one thing I have noticed is that if you are using the landscape mode and rotate / expand the view using the buttons in the lower left. As soon as you go to a link in a post the view switches back to iPhone portrait mode. I’m sure this is probably an issue with the iPad OS itself but just something to note.

Mostly it looks good on the iPad, but on some post the layout seemed to be broken because of huge images or previews
