To get some conversation going here – what’s your favorite coffee shop (/cafe/gas station coffee vendor) in Cincinnati?
I’ve been to about ten or so, and my favorite has to be Fulton Yards near the river. There’s nothing knock-your-socks-off about it, but it’s reasonably priced, the views are nice, and the shop is cozy enough to not get too loud.
I also like Wyoming Community Coffee when I’m in the mood for a snack or something
I was in Cincinnati for work a few weeks back and enjoyed Deeper Roots. They also supplied coffee beans to Taft Brewing. My sample size for Cincinnati coffee is very limited, but I enjoyed it.
Deeper Roots is great, and has great coffee! I honestly tend to forget about it because it’s usually so busy that I can’t get a good seat, which is obviously good for them.
Collective Espresso. Cozy and out-of-the-way.
Trailside in Newport is a neat place. I’m not sure who they source their beans from though.
I have a lot of favorites that you can find on the east side.
- Coffee Emporium
- Mom n Em
- Madison Place (some say it’s cult-run)
- Red Tree
- Deeper Roots
I like Roebling books and coffee. The Covington and Newport locations are great, haven’t made it to the Dayton location yet. They now serve food from Lil’s Kitchen (formally of Lil’s bagels) which has been a great addition.
Coffee Emporium has the absolute best coffee in my opinion. I always load up on beans when I’m close by. I’ve met the owner too, she’s super nice!
