My dog once got into and ate an entire package of chocolate moon pies and didn’t even get a little bit sick, so she probably doesn’t believe me that chocolate is poison for dogs.
Pretty much just strong dark chocolate is actually dangerous
Theobromine is the culprit. Chocolate flavored foods often have very little.
Please don’t give your dogs chocolate, everyone. I don’t trust you all to do the cacao maths. If your dog eats chocolate, call a vet.
Maybe the pies didn’t have that much chocolate and it was just 15% chocolate :)
