We could be watching the city Reni, Izmail or Kiliia getting attacked there, which are right across the Danube river from Romania. People in Romania can get as close as 300m to the explosions in Ukraine when standing on the other side of the river.
Grain is already transported via truck through the four eastern EU countries since the war started. But some of the bordering countries oppose the EU grain deal in an attempt to protect their farmers income. So it’s complicated what’s going on there.
Not really possible. We have no big harbors directly across the Danube. Instead, ships seem to be doing this (sorry, I found no English article about this yet)
