Great shots! I would just suggest that you try to bring up a bit of the shadow detail in the wooden posts and the grass at the bottom of the main post’s photo just to preserve that texture. other than that, very nice mood you’ve captured here!

      Thanks for the feedback!

I thought to keep it like that to create a frame at the bottom without distraction

Since you asked for critique, how aware are you of all the composition choices you’ve made in the first photo. By moving towards or away from the fence, or left and right, crouching or standing, and cropping, you could rearrange the balance of foreground shadow, field and sky, the extent to which the fence posts cover the field, and the closeness of the posts (horizontally) to the sun.

Now I think you’ve made excellent choices - the nearest to a quibble is that the left fence post strikes me as a little close horizontally to the sun - and I really like that you’ve got some leaves coming in at the top. But my question is, did you make those choices consciously - in which case well done - or subconsciously, in which case perhaps think more about composition (but do listen to your instincts, they appear good!).

      Thank you!

I made some conscious decisions. All those images were made while walking my dog, and i have him only for a short time so i can’t let him off the leash at the moment, so all these images were made with a bit of time pressure until he walks past me and yanks on the leash :-D Also there was the limitation of how i could place myself.

But for example, leaving in the leaves from the top and the “border” of grass at the bottom were conscious. The placement of the posts are a very good hint, i could’ve used them a bit better.

But most of those pictures were quite spontaneous and instinct-driven, so thank you for telling me my instincts appear good! :-) But i surely want to make more active decisions and think more about how exactly i frame everything.
