Has everyone got theirs by now? Wife and parents have, mine’s nowhere to be seen…

    We got our ones to check the register details some time ago. I don’t think we’ve had easy-vote cards yet. But it’s not like local elections where you get voting forms, for the general election you go to a voting booth, they cross your name off and give you a voting paper to fill in on the spot.

    If you’re not registered to vote yet, you can register at the booth. If you end up in the wrong area (so your name isn’t on their list), you can do a special vote.

    You should follow up to make sure the registered details are correct if you didn’t receive that one, but don’t stress too much. It won’t stop you voting.

      Cheers, much appreciated. Didn’t realise I could just sort it all on the day. Have been out of the country for about 20 years!

    Fwiw my easy vote card turned up this morning (day after polling opened…). It’s not an issue if you don’t get yours in time, just takes an extra few minutes for them to look you up the hard way
