Never ever do you see a minority religion demand a mandatory prayer for all students. Which demonstrates that there is no theological basis for it.

Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
So it should be done IN PRIVATE.

I’m aware of some city council meetings that rotate clergy from different religions and denominations lead an opening prayer. But, yeah, a high school football coach won’t put in that kind of effort.
