Episode 3/4 I love how blunt and go-getter the Yoon sisters are Chowon is just as blunt as Ji Eum/Ju Won is lol.

I wasn’t expecting to cry at Ji Eum hugging her previous life’s mum but holy And then nearly again at the end of ep 4.

It’s been quite a while since I finished the webtoon so I can’t recall exactly down to the specific details how the story goes/how meticulously true the drama is staying to the webtoon but I believe the brother bit doesn’t last that long thankfully but pacing tends to need to be rejigged a little anyway, to fit a many episode webtoon into a much fewer episode drama

(I can’t seem to get the spoiler tag to work! :()

I love the relationship of those two sisters!! No idea of their age difference, but Shin Hye Sun really nailed the mature look. Even without knowing their ages, we could see Ji Eum/Ju Won as the older sister.

Yes, I cried at the hug too! Made me curious if her mum ever comes around and realised that’s her.

I loved how she was telling him that because he was drunk at the time she preferred he revisits their conversation when he’s sober.

(Yea I don’t get how spoiler tag works here, tried and failed. Maybe mentioned on the post body that it may contain spoilers?)

It’s been probably years since I read the webtoon so I can’t remember but I feel like things are progressing quite quickly! Chowon was the first of them all to find out but I feel like ep 5 is quite early on, I’m sure I’m just not remembering it quite well but yeah

Ep 5 and 6. Warning: contains spoiler!!!

Awww I keep tearing up seeing the sisters’ interaction in the past! They’re just so adorable together!

I’m also wondering why the shaman people only appeared now in her 19th life. She has reincarnated so many times before, and pretty sure it’s not the first time she approached people from her previous lives (we even had flashback of that child who approached his previous mum I think). So why now? Is it because people in this life actually believed her, therefore something bad will happen to them?

I’m still watching ep 6 but just want to get this out here first.

When he was a little boy, he ran up to his former mother and called her mom. He didn’t say he was reincarnated and the mom just thought he was crazy and had him thrown out.

Didn’t the shaman say that Ji-Eum’s revelation to her sister would cause problems?

And who’s Han-Na, the singer with short hair and friend of the shaman? She recognized Ji-Eum as Joo-Won when they were crossing the street and said she grew up well. When she walked past the portraits in MI Hotel, she was looking at the one of Bo-Young.

Oh you’re right! I didn’t realise he only called up to her.

Before I watched the latest 2 eps, I thought Hanna (the singer/dancer) was also another shaman. Like there was a group of them roaming about to warn/catch those reincarnated people to keep them in line or something. But yea, that was way off! Lol

I got such bad vibes from min gi and hanna but seems like they’re… Good…? Or at least neutral. Hanna seems fine but I still get bad vibes from min gi

We know now who Hanna was, but from the flashbacks Min Gi looks to be someone from her past as well.

My guess, he was someone who was in love with her but she was in love with the past Seoha as well. Then she died, maybe related to Seoha, and Min Gi somehow had/has the power to keep them both reincarnated and remembering their pasts in the hope that they rekindle their relationship in the next live. But Jowon/Ji Eun kept going back to Seoha. I don’t know how Seoha’s mum got to do with this though.

You’ve read the webtoon. Has the story in the drama changed much from the webtoon?

Holy shit I paused the episode (ep 7) to come here and squeal but SPOILERS!!!

when he ‘pecked’ her and she tiptoed up to reach him, grabbed his face and said ‘this is a proper kiss’ i SWOOOOOONED, like holy hell and wow what a kiss for a kdrama (i know the kisses have vastly upgraded since the fish mouth and stay still for 1 sec) but wow you could see tongue in that kiss. jieum has such a strong character and by god is that sexy as hell

Edit: no wonder the pace is so fast, it’s only 12 episodes! I thought it was the usual 16 and was wondering why things were progressing so fast between our main leads

I KNOW RIGHT!!! Shin Hye Sun never disappoints, including her kisses!! I’m still remembering the ones in Mr Queen. Ah~~

I can’t wait to see Driver Ha and Chowon’s kisses next! His gaze for her has been so intense that I feel I should look away sometimes. If that’s an indication how their kisses will be like, then oof… I will need a cold shower!

Eps 7 and 8 are really one revelation after another! Can’t believe we’re more than halfway there already, and that this drama will end next week! Sobs

This is the first thing I’ve seen her in so I had no expectations or preconceptions about her but when I first started the drama I didn’t think she was that attractive but I’ve eaten my words multiple times over already.

😭😭 This drama should’ve been 14 episodes at the least, they’ve cut out so much from the webtoon. I’d rather king the Land be the one with 12 episodes than this show. I find this show much stronger than king the land

Hahah to be fair, I also thought the makeup/styling could’ve gone better for her in this drama. She was beautiful in the other dramas I’ve seen of her.

Yea I thought this was the 16 episodes drama and King The Land was 12 for the first couple weeks, then realised it’s the opposite. The reaction I’ve seen so far has been that this drama started off strong but it stagnated soon after. On the other hand, KTL keeps a good pacing and has good star power. I still like this drama better than KTL, but can understand why people loves KTL more.
