Was a bit surprised to not see a discussion thread posted, but unsurprisingly big bad destructive laser weapon spaceship hybrid time.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see another set of episodes ordered even if the immediate conflicts get resolved.

Yeah, I’m just kind of watching just to finish G-Witch now. Like with many main line Gundam series, first season is ballin’, then they drop the ball in the second half. So much potential wasted. I was able to get my sister (not a Gundam fan) to watch part 1 with me, but soon after the bloody hand incident, she dropped it and I don’t blame her.

This series was all over the place and didn’t seem to know what it wanted to be, and also didn’t seem to understand what was good about it and what was bad. Amazing art, music, and mobile suit design, but there’s a reason why the creators stopped making “main” Gundam series as much and have pivoted to the “Build Fighters / Divers” universe instead.
